Day 1: Arrival, Welcome to Costa Rica!

 

At the Juan Santamaría International Airport one of our Ecogetaways representative will be waiting for you and then take to your hotel in San Jose

Day 2: Transfer to Arenal Area

 

Today you will be transferred to Arenal Area to admire the Magic of the Rainforest and Arenal Volcano.

Day 3: Arenal Hanging Bridges Tour

 

Arenal Hanging Bridges is a new tourism attraction in La Fortuna, within a 250 hectare reserve of primary forest. Visitor who love nature can enjoy 15 bridges from 5 to 100 meters long, friendly design along 3 km rain forest circuit of interpretive trails built with paving blocks to prevent slipping.
The imposing vistas of the Volcano from the hanging bridges over the forest, make a perfect combination for an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: Transfer to Monteverde Area

 

Today you will travel to the beautiful Cloud Forest of Monteverde, where you can relax while enjoying one of the most beautiful nature wonders in Costa Rica.

We invite you to enjoy our exhibition of more than 30 species of amphibians of Costa Rica where you will be able to observe and to learn of the most beautiful species of frogs which are supported in ideal conditions inside big terrarium and acclimatized to simulate the natural habitat of every species

Day 5: Butterfly Farm and Trainforest Tour

 

This was the first Butterfly exhibit in Monteverde. Here you will learn the importance of preserving the species of the area in the best possible way while admiring the most wonderful combination of colors and exotic specimens of butterflies. Back to the hotel for lunch.
Trainforest Tour
The Trainforest is a small-scale replica of an old-time train, created with the aid of modern electricity in order to guarantee the safety of our clients. The train will take tourists around the rainforest of Monteverde, providing them with a guided tour via train car, from which tourists can observe the majestic Arenal Volcano and the marvelous rainforest, with its tremendous diversity of flora and fauna, while specially trained guides explain the natural beauty that visitors will encounter throughout their trip.

Day 6: Transfer to Guanacaste visiting Rancho Humo tour, lunch included.

 

After approximately a 3 hour-drive, you will descend to Guanacaste, home of the last dry forest in the world.Once you get there you will have the opportunity to visit its amazing beaches and enjoy all kind of activities surrounding them.

Day 7: Guachipelin One Day Adventure Combo Tour, lunch included.

 

Canopy tour, Rock climbing, Tarzan swing, via ferrata, hanging bridges, that's just the first activity that will be done in the morning , then a delicious lunch to get our energy back for the next activity, horseback riding through the dry forest and beautiful pasture land, for the last part of the day, what can be better than relaxing in hot water pools coming directly from the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Also in this tour you will have a therapeutic experience while covering your whole body with volcanic mud .
