In 8 days, you will begin your trip in Jaco, a perfect beach - town, in the middle you will visit the rainforest and the amazing Arenal Volcano, and end at the Mid Pacific, Manuel Antonio Beach, a wonderful white sand beach surrounded by a tropical forest. You will see volcanoes, jungle, forests and beautiful beaches.

 

Day 1: Arrival, Welcome to Costa Rica!

 

At the Juan Santamaria International Airport one of our Ecogetaways representative will be waiting for you and then take to your hotel in Jaco.  There is a 2 1/2  hours driving distance approximately to arrive to this Beach - Town. Enjoy your trip admiring the nice view of Tropical vegetation!

Day 2:Horseback Riding to the Waterfall tour

 

Enjoy the morning at leisure. Relax and enjoy at your beautiful hotel and surroundings.

After lunch, enjoy learning about Costa Rica’s exotic plants and rare wildlife as you ride through the tropical jungle and private ecological reserve at Tocori. After indulging your mind and spirit with expert knowledge, take a refreshing dip in pristine natural mountain waters while being splashed on by two stunning waterfalls. Don’t forget to enjoy an unforgettable taste of local fresh fruits and a homemade special tropical drink while you relax and cool off next to the waterfalls. 
After being refreshed, you are ready for a ride through meandering Tocori streams to the private Rancho where Doña Eli will be your hostess as she shares with you a typical Costa Rican dish or terrific BBQ.

Day 3: Transfer to Arenal

 

This magical volcano and rain forest area is approximately  3 1/2 hours away by land.. Enjoy the view!

A short hike in one of the trails close to the volcano area will give us the chance to enjoy some forest and the activity around it. At the hot springs our customers can enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak, it is also possible to see the Arenal Volcano erupting from a comfortable spa.

Day 4: Canopy Tour

 

Fly above the treetops on this high adrenaline zipline tour. See some of the most amazing views of the Costa Rica jungle and nature highlights. We like to work with Arenal Paraíso Canopy, with 18 cables and platforms, an adrenaline-packed tour.

Day 5: Direct Transfer to Manuel Antonio Area

 

Today we will pick you up after breakfast and take you to the amazing Manuel Antonio Beach, this is a 4 1 /2 hours driving distance approximately.

Snorkeling Tour
An exhilarating trip of the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park coast line; taking in views of the beautiful beaches and exotic islands. Your boat ride is both exhilarating and safe, we snorkel at least 2 different sites. An interpretive guide will tell you the interesting history of the area and we can spot the Pan Tropical Dolphins, Rays, Sea Turtles and a wide variety of coastal birds including the Brown Boobies and Pelicans. Humpback whales can also be spotted in season. No experience is necessary to discover the natural beauty of Costa Rica’s underwater tropical paradise

Day 6: Sunset Sail Cruise Tour

 

Your adventure aboard our sail ships begins as you sail down the scenic coast, past the beautiful beaches and islands of Manuel Antonio Park. As the boats glides quietly under sail you’ll probably see dolphins which frequently swim in the boat’s bow wake.

Occasional whales and giant sea turtles are a special thrill, and the ever present abundance of sea birds are enjoyed by even the most avid wildlife enthusiast.

Your professional crew will guide you through this aquatic paradise while attending to your safety and comfort. They will personally serve you plentiful portions of delicious food, in the tradition of the great cruise ships but with a homemade touch.

Day 7: White Water Rafting Savegre River II & III class tour

 

The Savegre River provides Class II, III and some IV rapids that are manageable in sturdy rafts that accommodate 2 to 6 people comfortably.  Our guides stop at locally known swimming spots and breathtaking waterfalls, if the rafters want a break from paddling, and there is always time to enjoy the abundant variety of wildlife along the river.

Day 8: Transfer Out to San Jose Airport

 

After a lovely time in Manuel Antonio. We will pick you up at the hotel and then take you to the International Airport hopping that you had a great time in Costa Rica!
