Ecogetaways Travel’s philosophy clearly states a complete engagement with the conservation and protection of our natural resources, with the firm conviction of properly transmitting this message to our community, visitors and travel agents around the world.

Worried about the current environmental problems and willing to cooperate against the global warming, we have made alliances with the principal Restaurants in the Central Valley that are interested in participate with us on this project, leaving a seed of hope, to have a greener Costa Rica and contributing with the preservation of our planet.

Our Eco- project consist in collect the used oil from this Eco – friendly Restaurants, looking forward to recycle it and turning it to Biodiesel.

All this procedure we make it along with the professional treatment that our partners from the company Biodiesel in Santa Clara, make to the used oil to finally obtain this renewable energy.

Some benefits of the Biodiesel are:

100% Organic Fuel: composed entirely of plant products, it don’t cause any damage to the environment.
Reduction of global warming: it reduces a 90% of the emits of CO2 when it’ s used in vehicles, generators, boats, or as a heating fuel.
Biodegradable: If a spill occurs accidentally, in 28 days the Biodiesel begins to decompose, avoiding an ecological catastrophe.
Non Toxic: Its handling is safer than diesel. Its toxicity is so low if accidentally its swallowed by fish, mammals or humans.
A perfect choice for the engine of your vehicle: its high solvent power and detergent will remove all waste from the tanks and pipes of your engine.
